The Jaguar Clan
Once upon a time, there was a tribe. This tribe lived in the rain forest of Brazil. Running straight through the middle of their territory was a giant river, the only way to get across this river was the Opal bridge. This bridge was a huge stone bridge encrusted with opals, owned by the tribe leader.
In This tribe there were different clans, downstream a little ways from the Opal bridge the river branched off into a smaller stream, this stream led to a large pool. The clan of the rising mist had built their village around this pool for the water source and a great community meeting place. Every night Jaguars came to drink at the pool. The clan of the rising mist was known for their loyalty to the jaguar. Once every full moon the entire clan would meet at the pool for a ceremony in honor of the jaguar. The clan of the rising mist lived in tree houses and were magnificent climbers. They made face and hair dye out of natural plants.
In one of the tree houses there lived a family. There was one baby boy, two seven-year old twin boys, a mother, a father, and a twelve year old girl. The twelve year old girl's name was Sara, she had long black hair and emerald green eyes. She was very pretty but she had no friends, that is except for the animals. Sara loved animals so much that's why Sara had a special connection with the jaguars, or the jaguars had a special connection with her. Sara also saved her animals and took care of them in her tree house. Sara was a special child. She had visions of how to heal people and animals and what herbs to use. Sara was a healer.
Currently, Sara had in her hut two jaguar cubs who had lost their mother.
